Summer Program 2012
Time to kick off our Junior Volunteer Program for this summer!
If you know of a teen that would like to volunteer their time this Summer, please send them our way.
Our Junior Volunteer Program consists of Volunteers ages 14 through 17 years and runs from June
through August. The deadline to have the applications turned into Guest Services is March 31.
fourty-five Junior Volunteers will be selected for this year’s Junior Program.
Here are a few guidelines to remember before having your teen apply for a Junior Volunteer
Position:
1. It is very important that the applicant volunteers because he/she wants to be here, not because it's
mom or dad's choice for them to be here. Please remember this is not a Summer baby sitting program.
2. The Junior Volunteer will not be assigned to the same department as his/her parent or family
member.
3. The same high standards and professionalism will be expected of them as are expected of all of
our Associates.
4. Acceptance into this program will be based on various factors to include the application, reference
forms, interview and GPA.
5. Applicant must commit to a minimum of 60 hours of service and willing to participate from June -
August.
